When the finished product is ready for installation our delivery crews liaise directly with the main contractor to ensure the safe and efficient erection of our products on site.

Ready Mixed Concrete

We supply readymix concrete to Offaly, East Galway, North Tipperary and parts of East Clare.

From our plant in Banagher we have 3 computerised batching plants and our fleet of lorries includes 2 concrete conveyor trucks.  We are in a position to handle all pours, large or small.

We operate to ISO 9001 Quality system and our quality monitoring is carried our by our own laboratory personnel.

Precast Tunnel Linings - Dublin Port Tunnel

Banagher Concrete Ltd is one of the leading suppliers of lining systems to the Irish tunnelling industry. Having successfully completed a major drainage project in Limerick, Banagher Concrete Ltd was awarded the prestigious Dublin Port Tunnel contract. With a total value of over 450m Euro the contract is the largest of its type ever undertaken in the country. The tunnel comprises approximately 5.6 km of dual carriageway, which includes 2.1 km of twin cut & cover tunnels and 2.4 km of twin bored tunnels, with associated interchanges and infrastructure. The scheme follows a broad north-south path in its route from Santry to Dublin Port.

Banagher Concrete Ltd was awarded the contract to produce the precast segments by NMI in July 2001. The lining consists of 3,037 rings with an internal diameter of 10.84m and a thickness of 350mm. Each ring is made up of six segments, weighing 8 tonnes each, and one key segment weighing 2.3 tonnes. Casting began in January 2002 and is due to finish in October 2003.
